Too anxious…AGAIN! Can’t sleep well these nights. My sifu (mentor) coming back again to rock Penang town up! I’m just too happy to work with an International multi-awarded wedding photographer.
Not to show off, but I personally feel that being someone’s helper will not only gain knowledge but friendship. Beside family’s bond, friendship comes second. Life without friendship just as if you were in the place of desert with no one accompany you and no one cares about your life and death. This life are sucks!
OK back to agenda. SHOOT LIKE A PRO would be a workshop for beginner level (entry level user) for digital photography. This workshop will be conducted by Mr. Louis Pang (5 times WPPI Malaysia’s most awarded wedding photographer). His course were only RM750. For those early bird would enjoy RM100 off from the actual pricing. There will be BRIPEX (BRIDAL AND PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION) offer which any purchase of RM300 from my outlet CLICK ‘N’ SNAP, you can enjoy a JUMBO discount RM150 off which end up RM600 only. Dirt cheap right?
This is only 1 day course. From 8:30am – 7pm. Whole sunday will be occupied with this workshop. Never regret getting your foot in as Mr Louis Pang will guide you through all your FEARS and MISTAKES which often did it during your local shootings with friends. Friends CANT comment your picture as some of their level of photography were unknown. You need a mentor which had won multiple international award to guide all your silly mistakes. I’ve been to his workshop before (during end of March 2009) and NO REGRET!
Let me share my stories with you guys,
One early morning, Sehu (my buddy) went to my outlet and share his experience of the workshop. He was the 1st batch student from Louis. He encouraged me to join. First common things I asked. ” HOW MUCH IS THE WORKSHOP? ” and he replied ” Very Cheap, RM1800 only! ” I was like ” WTF?? I can buy SB900 with this price dude! ”
After awhile, he sit down and share with me his experiences and all his past time pictures taken before going to workshop. To be honest, Sehu did alot of miracles in his picture. He, himself was surprised on what and how he took that picture. Sehu was surprised indeed. His picture were totally DIFFERENT from the past. He corrected much and I love his photos too!
So, Sehu kinda persuasive. He tried many times to convince me to join. I’m kinda stubborn guy. But finally he told me one thing, ” IF YOU JOIN, I JOIN 2ND TIME WITH YOU! ” What a good buddy! Maybe he printing money at home but I can’t expect he will be joining this with me. Sacrifice another RM1800 just to encourage a friend to join and gain knowledge. Hummm this buddy are hard to find anymore. Treasure with love and care!
You can take it as a challenge, but I think a good buddy will always be a positive persuasive (not talking about bad guys here). Finally, I agreed with him and joined the workshop. During workshop, I discovered a lot of my mistakes and I try my very best to correct them. All this while, no one dare to correct my mistakes as friends often keep it in their heart. Some photographer would have their own artistic ways of getting images. So some of the particular ones does not like to be comment. So they tried to maintain friendship and try not to comment too much. Every shots they say ” its nice ” , ” good angle ” , ” nice shots ” and ” ok ok lar / can pass lah “.
Personally, I felt that I wont improve much by those comment. Learn nothing. So, It’s up to you guys to think whether is it worth to join or not. The decision is up to you. Enjoy~~!
